Does size matter?

A few words of encouragement for those who feel they have substandard kitchens for cooking. After living in temporary accommodations for over a year, I haven’t had *my* kitchen or kitchen supplies available for quite some time. I have brought my ‘must-haves’ with me from Canada, and otherwise make do with as little in the kitchen as possible, with a kitchen the size of some walk-in closets (okay large walk in closets) in Canada.

I will share some of these minor achievements in slim-kitchen cooking as they come.

Also, for these same reasons, I don’t have fancy dishes to make my photos look nice – so please bear with me and my £6 ASDA (Scotland’s Walmart) dishes.

Well it’s about time

A sucessfull attempt at sushiMy first posting in my first blog on my first food site, and hopefully there will be many to continue. A brief introduction: I am a vegetarian who loves to cook, I don’t focus to much on how healthy my food is, however I do enjoy quinoa, tofu, chickpeas, and other such healthy ingredients. Though I have a definite weakness for cheese, as well anything crispy, crunchy and salty.

I’ve recently begun cooking meat, as I have a meat-eating boyfriend who once had a summer job in a butcher shop. Here I will provide recipe successes, failures, meat-cooking adventures, as well attempts at dinner parties for friends.
